Paul Krugman
Biography
Paul Krugman is the Winner of the 2008 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economics & the 1991 John Bates Clark Medal.
He is a Distinguished Professor of Economics at the City University of New York’s (CUNY) Graduate Center & former Professor of Economics and International Affairs at Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School.
Professor Krugman has also previously taught at MIT, Stanford, Yale, and the London School of Economics (LSE).
He is known for his contributions to the development of new trade theory, new economic geography, and currency crisis models.
He has authored or edited 27 books, published over 200 scholarly articles, and was a columnist for the New York Times from 2000 to 2024.
